Helper for ALL types of Home Improvement work including, drywall, windows, doors, siding, decks, porches, patios, garages, etc. We're immediately hiring helpers who are interested in learning the home improvement/home remodeling trade and growing Mr. Handyman as well as your own skills!
A home improvement helper assists our skilled technicians on jobs in customer's homes and businesses. Our Helpers perform basic tasks that require little to moderate training. For example, a helper carries materials and tools, hands tools to tradespeople when they request them, and cleans work areas.
Helper Pay Rate Expectations
A Helper's pay rate depends on level of experience and education and can make an average of $14.00 - 18.00 per hour.
No Experience Required - On-the-Job Training Provided
(1 year Experience Preferred)
Experience for a Helper will be acquired directly through working with our more experienced home improvement, and/or construction professionals in the field as their helper. Previous home improvement, remodeling and/or construction work is a definite plus to have for a potential candidate.

Helper Responsibilities
- Operating and maintaining basic to power tools
- Helping other skilled contractors when needed
- Preparing job sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards
- Loading or unloading construction materials
- Following instructions from technicians
- Learning from on-the-job training when necessary
Performing general site clean-up
Compensation: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
